I know K&N or other oiled filters also help to keep the water out at least over regular paper elements, dont know what Vararam uses. I mean if it is sucking in so much air what would keep the water out.Īnd I have that possibility now also even though I have the hydroshield, but what did Injen say, that you have to be submerged in 2 ft of water and it has to travel up that tube also? If I see water the only thing I can think is hydrolock. As we all know Washington State is known for its rain. I did pose this question before purchase so I could make a good decision. Well, I have seen two posts of water by the fiter on the intake. I will be checking my install and if something happens I will post it. Until all the data comes out we will see. Do I run the 1/4 mile and street race from stop light to stop light No.Īlthough if someone does run the 1/4 with this intake. Can this be improved Yes, is this an intake I like yes. Even the holes in the heat shield, even the fit. Sorry CAI, Rotofab, Injen I like Vararam even with the modding to the radiator brakets.

I dont own an Injen, although if this is even close to an Injen I understand the great feeling of having a great CAI. From my experiance, this car has changes, at low rpms pulls at upper rpms pulls. This car with out dyno with out 1/4 has changed how much and does it meet claims I dont know. It was like my car was sounding tough to sounding INSANELY MAD. I thought my intake came off or was miss alighned. I was at a red light put my foot on the gas at 5K rpms my car sounds louder then ever. I say we were at about 32 miles on the intake.

Ok I am not sure if any of you other Vararam experianced this yet.
