Definition of Entry Level IT & Tech Careersĭo you guys think that the definition of "Entry Level" has been lost to these recruiters? I mean I have seen some job postings asking for crazy requirements and I was under the impression that entry-level was a job for people with little to no experience. Its actually a really nice solution from management once everything is setup and working just fine. Alternative It might be worth calling in a VMware EUC partner to run a VMware View health check, do some training. It may be worth reading the View deployment guide. Ouch, sorry I didn't think of this (I assumed you had set it up). I needed to install the local agent in windows to make the connection. For the Desktops my coworker had set all of those up. So far I have been admining Servers and only RDP to those. It took over a week and VMWare finally contacted me and gave me an education. PCoIP is insanely better on high latency connections than RDP, or for doing low throughput video etc.įound the Issue. 
They limit upgrades, don't do QoS right, don't do printer redirection and suck in a lot of other ways.
The reason why people buy them is promised lower management (it doesn't happen) and in theory lower costs (they use SoC designs so the protocal is baked into the chip). 10Zig makes cheap thin clients that will work with RDP/PCoIP/HDX or whatever. I really don't like these vendor locked Zero Clients.
